I AM A NATURAL WONDER

Sunshine
walks, you stay still.  In noticing
is wonder, also in that crimp of you
stay still and as shoreline does.  Stillness
pitches in wonder and
stays, like retrieval.  Wonderel like water
beaching
along a shelf of
brief parrots.  Though migratory,
wonder is retrieval.  Capacious,
it holds, swells.  It climbs: owls
burst and recapitulate, they unweave
like tendons, flower
in cords of blood and black
feathers upon ocean
though of ocean
they make one
massive and astonishing
